About Viki Carter
Practical support shaped by real industry experience.

Over twenty years in unscripted television teaches you a lot. How to keep productions moving when everything around them feels uncertain. How to manage people under pressure. How to lead through change. And how important the right support can be — both for businesses and for individuals.
For much of that time, Viki loved the pace, the people, and the challenge of solving problems in fast-moving environments. But as the industry evolved, so did her understanding of what people really needed. Behind every production, team, and organisation are individuals trying to balance pressure, growth, leadership, confidence, and wellbeing.
That understanding led to the creation of Peʻahi Consulting — a business built around practical guidance, honest conversations, and experienced support.
Today, Viki works with production companies, creative organisations, freelancers, and professionals at every stage of their careers. Her approach combines consultancy, training, and coaching to help people navigate change with clarity and confidence.
Three principles that shape every engagement.
Straight-Talking
Clear, honest conversations without unnecessary jargon or corporate complexity.
Practical
Support rooted in real-world experience, not theory.
Supportive
Calm, grounded guidance designed around the realities people and businesses face every day.
Professional experience.
Viki has worked across unscripted television, branded content, post production, consultancy, and professional training for more than two decades.
She has supported businesses through periods of growth and operational change, delivered training for organisations including ScreenSkills, ITV Academy, BBC Academy, and Media Career Advice, and coached individuals navigating leadership, workload, confidence, and career transitions.
Balance, on and off the water.
When she’s not working, Viki can usually be found on the water, walking along the South Coast, kayaking, hiking, or enjoying live music somewhere outdoors. That balance between work and life sits at the heart of how she approaches both coaching and consultancy.
